As Women’s League football in the country moves its train to Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, South West Nigeria for the Nigeria Women Football League Super 6 tournament, the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, ANFASSC is calling on all football stakeholders to give the tournament the support it deserves.
The Super 6, which is scheduled to hold at the Dipo Dina stadium, Ijebu Ode starting from tomorrow, Monday, 19 April 2021, is a prerequisite for Nigeria’s WAFU Women’s Champions League Zonal qualifiers.
President of the foremost supporters club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi said Aisha Falode and her team have done well on their part, adding that it behoves on stakeholders to support the moving train”.
“I am appealing to everyone to continue supporting the Women football project, thankfully we now have the CAF club tournament for women, this will further propel us to greatness on the continent”.
Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens and Rivers Angels FC are competing for the top Prize in the tournament, others in town are Edo Queens, FC Robo and Sunshine Queens.
