The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) has announced that the Super 4 tournament will take place in Kaduna State from July 4 to 6, 2024. The tournament will feature four teams: Kebbi BSC, Kada BSC, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors, and Kebbi United BSC.
The opening match is a local derby between Kebbi United BSC and Kebbi BSC, followed by a match between Kada BSC and Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors. The round-robin stage will continue on the second day, with the final match taking place on July 6 between Kebbi Beach Soccer club and Kada Beach Soccer club.
The NBSL Coordinator, Mahmud Hadejia, expressed his excitement about the tournament, commending the Kaduna State government for their support and hosting the event. He also appreciated the Commissioner of Sports and the Kaduna Beach Soccer Association for their efforts in making the tournament a success.
The Chairman of Kaduna State Beach Soccer Association, Engineer Musa Nimrod, advised players to work in unity and expressed his delight about the return of the national team for the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (BSAFCON) Qualifiers.
The tournament promises to be an exciting display of beach soccer, with the teams vying for the championship title.
