The Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) has announced the composition of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2024 Teqball World Championship Qualifiers, tagged “Abia 2024”.
The 7-man LOC will be responsible for the successful hosting of the championship. The committee consists of the Vice President of the Federation, Mr. Ndudi Edede as the Chairman while Mr. Obioma George, Director of Sports, Abia State Sports Council will serve as the Vice Chairman of the Committee.
Other members of the Committee include Mr. Frank Chinagorom, Chairman, Abia State Teqball Association, Mr. Charles Emeka Ruben, Secretary, Abia State Teqball Association, Mr. Promise Uwaeme, Head of Competition & ICT, Nigeria Teqball Federation, Mr. Abdullahi Bajeh, Head of Technical & Development, Nigeria Teqball Federation, while Mr. Michael Ogbonna, Vice Chairman, Abia State Teqball Association will serve the Secretary of the Committee.
The “Abia 2024” Teqball World Championship Qualifiers will occur at the Aba Sports Club, Aba, Abia State, from July 17th to 20th, 2024.
The annual Teqball event is powered by the Abia State Government and supported by the Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) and the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ). It will bring together the best Teqball players from across Nigeria, who will compete for the chance to represent our great nation at the Teqball World Cup.
